She will be alright but not today

She will be alright but not today

Have you seen my senses? They seem to be all gone,
Away with the myths all shedding and faith being foregone.

haven’t known for a while, what has been wrong.
I have lost them in the train of conflicting thoughts,

Confused as I am, more than the paths,
Don’t know where to go and where to stop.

Have you seen my guide? Whom I cannot seem to find.
A night to my dawn, he always preceded me,

No matter where I was, Into the unknown or into the deep,
Now in the unseen,
I am all alone,
Where to go, the success seems so steep.

The darkness has filled my soul ,with insecurities for the future,
Nothing is right and thoughts haunting my mind, ‘Would I be another looser?’

The times are changing , the time is running faster
The pace of my heartbeat, Growing louder and louder.

With the noise of my cries , my conscience has died
Only if you could answer me:

Have you not seen my senses? Have they left my side?
Because I feel numb and I can feel the void.

Hope you liked this poetry penned down by both of us ! It was altogether a different experience 🙂

  1. Gurrrrrlll! You’re awesome. Always remember what Samwise Gamgee said in LOTR: “It’s like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn’t want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn’t. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something”
